We are happy to announce that MyDraw v7.0 has been officially released.

Below is a summary of the new features and improvements in MyDraw v7.0:

Layers

The new version of MyDraw introduces layers. Each page item, such as shapes and guidelines, can now be assigned to multiple layers.

Layers help you group related items, allowing you to show and hide them, protect them from printing or editing (by locking them), highlight them, and more. This provides granular control over the page items you want to work with, enabling you to focus on specific parts of your page without affecting others.

Additionally, layers are recognized during the import and export of Visio drawings.

Additional Improvements

The following existing features have been enhanced:

Improved Microsoft Visio Import-Export of VSDX (Drawings) and VSSX (Stencils) formats – We have improved the import and export of Microsoft Visio Drawings (VSDX files) and Stencils (VSSX files) with added support for shape protections. Invisible Nevron shapes are now no longer exported to Visio.
Improved import of Microsoft Visio 2003-2010 VSD (Drawings) and VSX (Stencils) formats – The Visio 2003-2010 import has been completely rewritten, making it faster and more accurate than before.
Improved Family Tree diagrams – Persons are now ordered by birth date, and relationships are ordered by marriage date.

MyDraw for Jira (Atlasian)

We’re excited to share that we’re in the final stages of preparing MyDraw for Jira for release.

MyDraw for Jira will be a Jira Plugin that helps teams embed diagrams and whiteboards directly into Jira tickets. It will be the most feature-rich diagramming solution for Jira.
